TDR Re-maiden Fail
After the last botch auto I replaced the slightly bent tail boom. I looked at the TT and deemed it good. I was wrong. Here’s the online video of my failure. Hope you choke on it. LOL
Kidding aside, this was the re-maiden of the TDR after replacing the boom and head link, new motor & ESC, and the addition of the Henseleit “rigid” setup with the white bushings and red orings. It was hard at first to determine the source of the shaking but ended up being just a slight arc in the TT shaft.
Note to TDR owners: If you THINK it might be bad just replace the damn thing. Wasted time and money hoping everything was fine. The next parts order is going to be huge with the list of replacement parts I want to have on hand. Won’t be kicking myself in the ass anymore wishing I had just ordered what I MIGHT have needed. In this case I did need those parts I didn’t order.
Lesson learned.
